Drowning

The past week has been a bit hectic in terms of work because it's month end. Working in finance has it's perks but when this time of the month rolls around & you're forced to spend every spare minute thinking about profit/loss reports, which client to bill, which client you haven't billed as well as eating breakfast/lunch at your desk .. Well this can only lead to the infamous feeling of being "brain dead".

I was in bed at about 9:30pm on Friday night due to how intense the week was. What a wild way to spend Halloween right?

On a social level though the week/weekend mainly consisted of pizza/drinks at Lucky Coq, drinks/chips at Morris Jones, Halloween/Costume birthday parties followed by hungover visits to Hungry Jacks and McDonalds, cake/coffee at Caffe Sienna, tattoo self appreciation and a very supportive visit to Batman Market to view our friends handmade candles/bookmark stall while chowing down on Chorizo hotdogs.

I actually didn't realize until the weekend was almost over that Sara and I hadn't actually seen many people since we returned from our mini holiday so it was really nice to just chill & catch up with some of our friends, sussing out what they had been up to as well as letting them in on what we had done in Tasmania.

How was your weekend?

  1. Crying at how good your photos are.
Your weekend sounds relaxing, except for the hungover part lol! I sort of work for a night club (as a promoter) so that's where I was on the weekend...or any weekend...if I even go out lol

    1. Haha thank you :D
Yeah, the hangover wasn't so nice but the rest was pretty chill. That's cool that you work for a night club, which one? Ha. Be funny if we catch each other out in Melbourne one night. X
